So, I've got my comp back with all its files in tacked! Yaaaay! Of course the first thing I did was back everything up, I won't let that happen again. Turns out the harddrive just up and died randomly. So I've got a new harddrive and its working fine, I just need to reinstall ALL my programs, which will take a while.

In other news, its spring break, yay! Only a week off, but we really need it. After a long chicken haitus, I decided it was time to get some chicks, so I spent yesterday rigging up a brooder and driving 1 1/2 hours up to Jerseyville to get three chicks. Two ameraucanas and one barred rock. Hopefully they are all girls; they were marked as such, but sexing chick is hard so who knows. They are adorable, of course. I've named them Demeter, Poppy, and Cirrus, which are all pretty cheesy but what can you do.
